Arrival and Departure Instructions:
Most participants arrive in Bergen a day early to rest up and also enjoy the sights of Bergen! This way they are sure to be at the meeting point on time, as we depart immediately to the Fjords and it is very difficult to connect with us after our departure.
In any event, make sure that your travel arrangements allow you to arrive Wednesday at Bergen Airport (BGO) by 11:30 am, not later!
Meet the KOA Bus at Bergen Airport: Our KOA Norway Trip Leader will be at the appointed meeting place at 11:30 am to gather everyone and bring them to the KOA bus.
Return Flights Thursday: If flying from Bergen Airport, book a flight from 12:45 pm on, not earlier!
The KOA bus will drop off at the Bergen airport at approximately 11:00 am
Those who need to catch earlier flights from Bergen or Oslo have an additional option to book an early morning 45 minute domestic flight from Sogndal airport (SOG) to either Bergen airport (BRG) or Oslo airport (OSL) and be in either Bergen or Oslo airports by 8:30 am. Information at http://wideroe.no/en
Participants can pool and take a 30 minute taxi to the local Sogndal airport and arrive in time for the 6:45 am flights.
